Cherry character walk cycles

Cherry character designs inspired by Max Fleischer-era animation. Animated in Adobe Character Animator. Each walk cycle intended to convey a different emotion. The walk cycles were all created with Adobe Character Animator.

The leaf subtly bobs up and down as he takes long strides. His face clearly conveys sadness, but I wanted his walk cycle to really sell his depression.

This guy was definitely my favorite to animate. He has this tough outer shell, but inside he's actually just afraid and doesn't want anyone to notice. His eyes dart around and he mostly looks worried and nervous.

This cherry had another cherry attached to him, but the other cherry withered up and fell off. The remains bounce behind him as he drags it along with him. There's a feeling of loneliness to his design, and the heavy bob is meant to emphasize it.

This cherry is happy for everything he has. He's lost a leg, but he triumphs on with a smile and big strides.

This guy was intended to be the ultimate "tough guy." Unlike the other "tough" cherry, who is actually just nervous, this cherry has nothing left to fear.
