Rupert Character Design

I created this character years ago for a personal animation that, after I started college, I just never had the time to make. The character was originally designed to be animated in Adobe Character Animator and looked, well, a lot rougher than he does now. I was inspired by the Bob's Burgers art style, and tried to make something that felt like it could fit in a similar universe.
A prim, proper British rat. A lover of fine arts, Rupert is an extremely talented violinist, dancer and painter. He can excel at anything he puts his mind to, but his insecurities hold him back, and he's terrified of criticism. Just when things are looking up for Rupert, an external force always finds a way to screw everything up for him.
