Squirrel 3D model and rig created for my senior thesis film, "When A Tree Falls."
The model was originally sculpted in ZBrush, and then retopologized in Cinema 4D. After many designs and concepts, I went with this design because it allowed the character to be realistic, but still expressive and emotive.
The character has 1,5550,000 hairs in total, and a polygon count of 3720, before being parented in a subdivision surface.
